Abstract

Mumtaz Shirin is considered among the critics of first rank. She studied Urdu fiction in the vast background of Western literature and gave very deep insight in to the criticism of Urdu literature. On the topic of Manto wrote valueable criticism in Urdu and different critics expressed their respected opinions. Here in this article an effort has been made to present researched analysis of critical views of Mumtaz Shirin on Manto so that an awarness may come about as such.
