Review Process

At "ROOH-E-TAHQEEQ," we adhere to a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and scholarly merit of the manuscripts published in our journal. Our review process is designed to provide constructive feedback to authors, uphold academic standards, and facilitate the dissemination of original research and scholarly contributions in the field of Literature and Literary Theory.

1. Submission:
Authors submit their manuscripts through our online submission system, adhering to the journal's submission guidelines and formatting requirements. Upon receipt, manuscripts undergo an initial assessment by the editorial team to ensure compliance with journal policies and suitability for peer review.

2. Editorial Screening:
Manuscripts deemed suitable for peer review undergo an editorial screening process to assess their relevance, originality, and adherence to the scope of the journal. Submissions that meet the journal's criteria are assigned to an Associate Editor who oversees the peer-review process.

3. Peer Review:
Manuscripts are sent to expert reviewers in the field of Literature and Literary Theory for evaluation. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, academic qualifications, and relevant research interests. The peer-review process is double-blind, ensuring anonymity for both authors and reviewers.

4. Review Evaluation:
Reviewers critically evaluate the manuscript's content, methodology, significance, clarity, and adherence to scholarly standards. They provide detailed feedback, comments, and recommendations to the Associate Editor, assessing the manuscript's strengths, weaknesses, and suitability for publication.

5. Decision Making:
Based on the reviewers' feedback and recommendations, the Associate Editor makes an informed decision regarding the manuscript. Possible decisions include acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection. Authors receive notification of the decision along with reviewers' comments to guide revisions if required.

6. Revision and Resubmission:
If revisions are requested, authors are given the opportunity to address reviewers' comments and revise their manuscript accordingly. Revised manuscripts undergo reevaluation by the Associate Editor and may be sent back to reviewers for further assessment if necessary.

7. Final Decision:
Once revisions are satisfactorily completed and the manuscript meets the journal's standards, the Associate Editor makes a final decision on acceptance. Accepted manuscripts proceed to the production stage for copyediting, typesetting, and publication in the journal's forthcoming issue.

8. Publication:
Accepted manuscripts are published in the appropriate issue of "ROOH-E-TAHQEEQ," making valuable contributions to the scholarly discourse in Literature and Literary Theory. Authors are notified upon publication and provided with a digital copy of their article for dissemination and citation.

9. Continuous Improvement:
We are committed to continuous improvement and transparency in our review process. Feedback from authors, reviewers, and readers is welcomed and considered for ongoing refinement of our editorial policies and practices.
