Wahab Ashrafi is considered one of the critics of first rank in Urdu language. He has studied Urdu fiction and has deep insight into the criticism of Urdu literature. He is one of the modern and prominent critics particularly of Urdu Fiction. His understanding and views on criticism of fiction are unique and hence demand serious considerations. This article is a study of Wahab Ashrafi's thoughts and contribution to criticism of Urdu fiction.
