Abstract

The Pakistani Punjabi journalism is repleted with monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual magazines. But the significant role of quarterly Punjabi magazines is pivotal. "Mehkan International" magazine from Sahiwal city is a great addition in the list of quarterly magazines of shahmukhi Punjabi since 2005. The special editions of this said magazine are hallmark in Punjabi journalism of Pakistan. Its 18 special editions are providing ample knowledge and information about literary, journalistic and cultural personalities or anthologies to the readers with great variety of subjects and matter. This research article will give an introductory insight and literary analysis about these special editions of Mehkan International Magazine.
