A Review of the Effects of National Songs on Urdu Hamds, Naat, Manajat, Manqabat and Salam Negari

Abstract

After the Indo- Pak wars especially the 17- days war of 1965, the national songs will be intellectually and artistically rich with their immense creative energy.This war played an important role in the awakening of national identity. In these songs, during this short period of time,the strength and energy emerged that influenced other genres of poetry as well.In this way,the thoughts and ideas of national songs were transferred to urdu hamds,manjat,nat, Manqbat and salam negari.The specific vocabulary,techniques,symbols and allusions used in national songs found their place in these genres.These similies and metaphors,symbols and technigues represent the geographical features of pakistan along with the Islamic cultural heritage.Place mention of scenes and birds in the above categories expanded their scope.In this genre of praises and chants,their morals and character were reformed by connesting the thoughts of the greatness of Allah ,praise,strength and greatness to the center of unity of the nation.In addition to purely natiya thoughts,there were many articles in Naats that contained moral thoughts and chants.Respectful tone of the nation’s civilization and social reconstructionit is done keeping in mind.Nowadays,it is common to read naats instruments and music like national songs.With the influence of national songs, an attempt was made to promote collective tendencies in greetings.
