Spirituality is an integral part of our life. Spirituality is a separate place from our material world. From the Islamic point of view, Sufism is the path to the satisfaction of spirituality. Good morals are the guiding light for humanity and these good morals are the key to the path of Sufism. The Work of a Dervish is to the share and spread love among humans. He brings society towards the path of God with love. Urdu language and literature evolved with the Islamic teachings and practices of the most revered Sufies. Our forefathers did the work of reforming the Indian society through Sufism. These Sufies casted a great influence on the culture of the sub-continent. The autobiography of our forefathers are the adornment of Urdu literature. In this regard, the Sufi’s style of “Jagar-e-Lakht Lakht”(Autobiography) is highlighted.
