Abstract

In this document, we try to highlight a historical perspective of Mujaddid Alf Thani’s methodology in Dawah. He adopted many serious strategies to make a possible restoration of Muslims in spiritual and social domain of 16th-17th century Mughal’s India. He covered various strata of society like general public, religious scholars and ruling elite. And contested the dominant and unorthodox impact of Akbar’s reign by enforcing fidelity to Sharia and Sunnah. By harmonizing between legal laws and spiritual practices, he filtered the Muslim community from cultural hybridization and ethical decline.
