Protection of religion in the light of objectives of Shariah

In Islamic Shari'ah, there are some motives behind every ruling due to which the rulings are enforced. The scholars of Islam recognized these objectives and named them objectives of Shariah. These objectives are set keeping in mind the Islamic teachings. Among these objectives, the protection of religion has been put first. Then the protection of life, property, intelligence, lineage and family has been mentioned. That is, the protection of religion is the first goal of any Muslim. Whenever matters are settled, the thing that Islam has said to be the foremost in them is religion. After that, the protection of his life has been declared mandatory. And then the protection of intellect has been declared essential and practical measures have also been taken to protect it. After wisdom, the protection of wealth has been declared mandatory. That man should also protect his property and protecting property has been presented as a religious duty. Then he focused on protecting the lineage and race of man. In this way, the goals of Shariah, which are also known as goals of Maqasad-e Khamsa, are fulfilled. In the research under discussion, protection of religion will be explained in the light of the purposes of Shariah and the sayings of Muslim thinkers about the importance of protection of religion will be presented and different dimensions of protection of religion will be highlighted.
